Consulting With Cake Man for Your Wedding Day

When you are ready to place your order for your wedding, there are several things that you must do. Gather pictures of your wedding dress, china, and samples of cakes. Try to have two or three ideas on how you want your wedding theme to look.

Where is your wedding? New York , New Jersey , Connecticut , London or Paris ? Please have the exact address of your wedding destination. There is an extra charge for delivery. The charge is based on the place of your wedding.

Cake Man will need to meet with you to go over your wedding plans. So please be prepared to set a date for your consultation with him.  There is a consultation fee of $50.00. Please bring all pictures, designs, fabrics or anything else that will show how you want your wedding cake to be.

How big do you want your cake to be: 1 tier, 2 tiers, 3 tiers, 4 tiers, etc? Do you want your cake to have extravagant designs, fountain of champagne, castle shape, lights inside the cake, imported flowers, etc.? What kind of toppings would you like: fondant, icing or frosting? Any dietary restrictions? What kind of filling do you want: pineapple, icing, etc? How many people?

Be prepared to give Cake Man a design of the cake during the consultation meeting. The consultation meeting should last for one hour. You should also bring a deposit for the cake. The deposit is always ½ of the total price for the cake and consultation fee. The balance of the cake must be paid before the wedding date in cash. During the meeting, you will be asked to complete a brief wedding application.

Do you want Cake Man to be there for the entire wedding reception or just to deliver the cake? There will be an extra charge if Cake Man is there for the entire wedding reception. The charge depends upon the date, place and time of your wedding.
