Cake Man donates a cake to The Brooklyn Academy of Music for The Martin Luther King Tribute Event -Monday, January 16, 2006 Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York hosted the Twentieth Annual Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - Come Share the Dream. The annual celebratory event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the largest public tribute honoring Dr. King in New York City, was instituted in 1987-one year following the first national observance of Dr. King's birthday.
