Cake Man Raven Confectionery 5th Year Anniversary Sunday, July 17, 2005
Welcome, Welcome to the 5 th Year Anniversary Celebration of the Cake Man Raven Confectionery, Inc. – nestled in Fort Greene Brooklyn, New York . “Nobody told me the road would be easy I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me.” Can you believe the Red Velvet cake has done it again? You have answered the call, you have heightened the bar and most of all you have taken the time to acknowledge the rise of more than just cake. Thank you customers from every walk of life, and around the world. Thank you supporters for all your accolades and prayers. Thank you staff, administrators, assistants and support staff for your dedication to the cause. Thank you family and friends for your love. Thank you members for institutions and organizations that allowed me to affiliate and fellowship. Thank you for media, writers, broadcasters, photographers, journalists, radio personalities, disc jockeys and visual specialists. If I've missed any one it is my error, for the lives you have allowed me to touch have been remarkable. I thank the God in heaven above for keeping me in his care with an equal portion of health and strength for the day is the day I celebrate the pain and sweat doubt and fear, disbelief, nay sayers and stone throwers. In spite of it all, all that I have been through – I still have joy. We celebrate another year in the borough of Brooklyn . We brought rubbish to a cake palace which was often called the Keebler House. We have been able to bring buildings, monuments and thousands of pounds of cake to tables across the globe. From replicas of Big Ben to cartoon characters called Sponge Bob. We have delivered the heads of state and to embassies. We have delivered the grandest, the most famous, the lavish as well as the most simplistic places, the cake whose heart is red. Thank you because you have given me a chance to share what I do best with you across the country. Together as a village we will reclaim the direction of our youth. Remember when we eulogize individuals at a service, we are to change ourselves with a quality from the deceased so that their living will not have been in vain.
