It’s theater, it’s ballroom, it’s Chelas Market Place, it’s home to the mayor of CakeVille USA world renowned Cake Man Raven’s corporate offices and Production kitchen and studios. From the Pre Inaugural Ball of 2009 to raising funds for the Brooklyn Steppers, Food Network’s Throw Down with Bobby Flay to Lenny Green’s Birthday Party to Gospel Shows and Video Shoots and the annual Mock Wedding Receptions created to open the on coming years new trends in cakes and colors. It has happened at 2914 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, East New York!
We celebrated our fourth year 2010 Cake Show on February 20, 2010 and February 21, 2010. Our house artist was Evangelist Maxine Castellos and her band….who continues to inspire the crowd with melodic tunes of new contemporary Gospel. The 6,000 plus square foot building was found by a night store attendant, Corbitt Smith. The warehouse was constructed by Mike Raphual and his crew whom also recreated the atmosphere of the retail shop. Raphual exhibited true skill and technique by making Cake Man Raven’s ideas come alive from a mere sketch on a napkin.
